Paid Surveys: My Mom Was Scammed Again! That’s It!
My Mom got scammed again. Don’t let this happen to you.
Taking online paid surveys has become a very popular way to earn extra money from home. It is not hard to see why… all you need is a computer that can connect to the Internet and an email account. You signup with as many companies as you wish and then sit back and await the arrival of surveys in your email inbox.
Since most surveys pay between $5 and $25 dollars each, you can easily earn several hundred dollars a month for just a few hours work. In fact, there are many people who earn enough each month to pay for health insurance or even their entire mortgage.
Even the threat of layoffs isn’t quite as dire if you know that you have an uninterruptible income stream of hundreds of dollars each month through these paid surveys. At least you can eat.
THAT IS, UNLESS YOU GET DUPED BY ONE OF THOSE SCAM PAID SURVEY WEBSITES.
My mom decided to join one of these paid online survey websites to earn extra money for Christmas. She performed a simple Google search and was amazed at the number of online paid survey networks that appeared. There were literally hundreds of them. (You get access to all the companies that offer paid surveys by signing up with one of these networks).
She felt there were too many of them to really investigate, so from this sea of paid survey networks she selected one and joined.
Big Mistake!
After joining she logged into the website and discovered:
1. The majority of Links didn’t work.
2. The site was so complicated that she couldn’t figure out how to get around.
3. There was absolutely no online help.
4. The database of companies was obsolete.
Worse was that almost immediately she began receiving SPAM in her email inbox. Not just 2 or 3 pieces, but 50 to 60 pieces of junk mail per day! It’s as if her email address was given out to every spammer in North America!
Then the final insult came in the form of a sluggish computer. Her PC started to run very slowly. Even starting and shutting down her PC took longer and longer. After investigating we discovered that her computer had been infected with Ad-ware! These are the little clandestine programs that get onto your hard drive and monitor your surfing and other activities. She had to install software to remove this junk and get her computer back to normal.
THERE ARE MANY SCAM WEBSITES OUT THERE.
Now I know that paid surveys do work because my wife does them .. and gets paid for each one. But my Mom’s case illustrates just how easy it is to get scammed on the Internet.
Anyone who decides to earn extra money through online paid surveys must first do their homework. Do not signup with just any network without ding some investigation.

Paid Autosurf For Cash - Make Money In 5 Minutes A Day
Autosurf programs are the new big online moneymakers. For people who have always wanted to earn money online with very little effort autosurfing is the new king.
What is autosurf and how can you make money with paid auto surf programs? Companies that have web sites will pay for traffic. They will pay to have people visit their sites and hopefully buy what they are selling. Autosurf web sites are the go-between, the connection between you and the companies looking for more traffic. They will pay you to view web sites and online content specifically targeted to web promotion professionals like yourself.
Some people are making hundreds of dollars every day in just a few minutes of time. And maybe you want to do the same thing. It’s a very simple process to get started making cash with paid autosurf programs. This article will explain the basics of what you need to do to get started in the amazing world of auto surfing.
There are many online money making scams, Ponzi schemes or pyramid schemes available to people who are willing to invest their hard earned money before doing their homework. Greed can cost you a lot of money if you aren’t careful. This article is not concerned with those schemes, but will cover the high-earning potential of paid autosurfing, also known as autosurf for cash.
Let’s say a company called ABCD Investments (this is a make believe company) wants to get more traffic to their web site. They contact an autosurf company such as 12 Daily Pro and pay them money to increase their web traffic. ABCD Investments believes that a certain percentage of people visiting their web site will buy what they are selling. So they are willing to pay to get potential buyers to their site.
In exchange for this payment 12 Daily Pro turns around and pays internet users like you and me to view ABCD Investments’ web site for a few seconds. This way ABCD Investments gets the traffic they want while the web site surfers like you and me get paid to view their web site.
There are thousands of companies that will pay to get additional traffic to their sites. Auto surf companies such as 12 Daily Pro have thousands of web sites that they are supposed to get traffic for and thousands of people that they pay to view those sites. Web surfers just like you can “auto surf” those web sites for just a few minutes a day with the possibility of making a huge return on their investment.
To make money with paid auto surf programs there is usually a membership fee required. The larger the membership fee the more money the member can make. Getting started in autosurfing is a very simple process. A person will sign up with an auto surf web site and then deposit money to become a paid member. Once they are a member they will autosurf for a few minutes each day to earn money. After a specified period of time, usually several days to a month, the member who autosurfs can cash out their earnings. They can then take their earnings and stop or they can put the money back in for more autosurfing and more earnings.
One thing to be aware of is that there are probably more scam autosurf sites than there are legitimate ones. So it pays to do your homework and only invest in auto surf sites with a good history of paying what they owe their members. Like all investments there is a risk that you could lose every cent you put into it. So be very cautious before investing your hard earned money in a risky venture.
12 Daily Pro is a company that has a long track record of paying their members on time, every time. They are at the top of the list. There are other companies that have so far proven very reputable and reliable, but one needs to do their homework before putting money into an autosurf company.
Larry Johnson is the owner of many websites including Autosurf Programs. For more paid autosurf information and step by step instructions for making money in autosurf visit Autosurf Programs.

Staging(r) Your Home for Sale: a Superior Real Estate Home Marketing Technique: Part 1
Every Realtor KNOWS that a home should be shown in its best light to help sell it faster and for more money! We also know that, properly done, it Is a lot more than putting fragrant pies, breads or cookies in the oven, opening the drapes and turning on all the lights; although even that helps greatly.
Setting the stage to obtain the highest value, fastest, for a home has recently evolved into a real estate specialty that can pay of grandly for the seller and help the buyer overcome the immense emotional strain of making a decision on which, of many similar properties, to purchase. For a few hundred or a few thousand dollars; a seller can increase the speed greatly and add several percentage points to the sales price, simultaneously!
For the buyer, purchasing a home is a daunting emotional progression. First the buyer determines price range, then probably a list of must haves, should haves, and hopefully included - features, advantages, benefits and of course possible locations. However, when they preview a home that really knocks their socks off aesthetically, that list and the priorities can be instantly and dramatically reorganized in their minds! I call it the WOW factor! Few homes have it, those that do - sell for greatly more money and much faster.
The greatest difficulty for any seller, me included, is that we tend to romanticize our own homes - seeing the great parts of our own home and being oblivious to the mess, shortcomings, clutter, needed repairs and incongruities. We can call it eclectic but to a buyer it’s often just a mess.
In any communication we must enhance, prioritize, observe, and promote more than anything else - what and how the recipient perceives our communication! Our opinion of our communication must be subservient to the opinion of the person or people that we want to convince! We as Realtors and we as sellers must convince the buyer or the home is not sold. This is an often difficult but always required priority in all parts of the marketing, promotion, advertising and sale of a property.
Staging elevates marketing and promotion. A well staged home looks far better in the marketing and advertising pictures, which predisposes a potential buyer to at least take a look. Once the buyer is in the home, the staging of the entire home, every nook and cranny, becomes part of the emotional data base, often subliminally installed, for getting the buyers to purchase the well staged property instead of the others on the market!
Most of us look right on past our usual surroundings, in all parts of life. We notice changes and differences but seldom the sameness. We as Realtors always give advice to our sellers, in hopes of getting them to better prepare, pose and present the home for sale. However, our all-consuming job is not rearranging furniture and moving pictures or putting stuff in storage de-kludging and cleaning out the garage and our advice is not usually fully adhered to. Our hours are best spent marketing, promoting and responding to inquiries on the property. Quality Staging can take hours and days.
Clutter is Killer! There are now accredited Staging Pros who get specialized training to recognize the importances, significances and small changes that put your property in its best and most flattering light. I call it similar to a Lady dressing for a grand ball - best dress, best hairdo, best makeup and best behavior and wonderful poise! All designed to hide any flaws and accentuate all the best!
Staging is an art, a science, a marketing philosophy and an applied promotional and sales tool of excellence and value beyond most other such tools and techniques of selling real estate and homes. There are accredited Staging Professionals that are trained and tested to recognize and handle the small changes and modifications that let your home glow its best in the eyes of potential buyers and the Realtors that may bring them.
Some things are difficult to overcome in today’s market; most difficult to overcome are lower than 9 foot ceilings and limited windows. Another grouping of deal killers are dated colors, dark, cluttered and unfinished looks.
A well staged home in our area can easily bring another 15% above what it will bring without proper staging. Some people can even make money through purchasing an un-Staged home, and while it is under contract, having it professionally and extensively staged - then selling their contract and making as much as 10% net profit… it could be more easily in some cases I’ve worked on.
The series of mental decisions that become a decision to purchase are comprised of a series of first impressions from outside the home to a series of impressions as the prospective purchaser tours the home.
Most importantly, sellers need to know that the first sale is to the Realtors who will bring your prospective buyers to your home and in your home is where the decision to purchase is made.

How to Start a Business from Home: Overcoming the Temptation to Quit
Whenever someone asks me how to start a business from home I always tell them one of the most important keys is finding a way to stay motivated. To believe they will eventually succeed. To keep going when they face some adversity.
As you start a businessonline or offI guarantee you will experience setbacks, frustrations, hostile customers and possibly even fraud. Like it or not these are a part of business.
When these things happen those who aren’t motivated to push through quit. They give up on their dream. No amount of instruction on how to start a business from home will do them any goodthey have lost the fire.
How can you keep from becoming a casualty in 2006? One way is to anticipate the temptations you will have to give up. If you have a plan in advance you won’t be caught off guard emotionally or intellectually when adversity hits. In fact, you might just be able to laugh it off saying, “Yeah, I knew this was going to happen…”
So what are some things you need to prepare for? Here are some:
1. You will run out of money.
2. Someone will give your product a bad review.
3. You will have family and friends tell you you’re crazy.
4. You will have technical problems you can’t seem to fix.
5. Your customer service will be awful.
6. You will get nasty emails.
7. Your “best promotion ever” will totally bomb.
8. You will get cheated.
There might be more, but you get the picture.
So, how to do you overcome the temptation to quit when one (or more) of these things happen. Here is a four step plan:
1. Say out loud: “This isn’t so bad; I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. I know I can deal with this.”
I guarantee everything you experience in starting a business from home has been experienced by thousands of others. We’ve all been there. It’s going to be OK.
2. Evaluate whether or not this is a “real” issue or a “phantom.”
Some issues are real, some are not. Just because someone says in an email you are an awful “so-and-so” doesn’t mean much. But if in the middle of that email they tell you the download link isn’t working, you better check the download link and make sure it’s working. Name calling is a phantom issue, but it may be “caused” by a real issue.
3. Take action to correct anything you need to correct.
If you have an issue that needs to be corrected, correct it. Take action. If someone sends you a nasty email for no reason, unsubscribe them from your list. Psychologists tell us taking action is the best cure for fearit gives us a sense of control.
4. Move on and run your business.
Now go about your day. Run your business. Move on to other tasks. Don’t dwell on the negative experience.
How do you start a business from home in 2006? The first step might just be to shake off the cobwebs of past failure and start again. To find out more on keys to staying motivated, I have put together this free guide:

How To Take Care Of Your Cuckoo Clock
A cuckoo clock is a humorous and charming addition to any home. In addition to notifying you of the time with its classic “cuckoo,” these conversations pieces are historically made in the beautiful Black Forest region of Germany, so they make excellent souvenirs for travelers heading to this area on their next European adventure. Whether you bring a new cuckoo clock into your home or proudly display an heirloom clock, be sure to take proper care of your clock so that it will keep prompt time and last for future generations of enjoyment.
Move Warily: The best way to take care of any cuckoo clock is to keep the clock firmly secured in an upright position to a wall. Take great care in moving the clock over any distance and be sure to keep the clock upright at all times. Often, moving a cuckoo clock requires an extra set of hands, since the weights and other pieces that dangle beneath the clock are extremely delicate and should be moved with the utmost care. When moving a cuckoo clock across greater distances than another room, consider consulting a clock expert to ensure the clock will remain in working order upon arrival of your new destination. Also, remove all movable pieces from the clock to prevent items from becoming damaged or the dangling weights from damaging the clock itself.
Hang Judiciously: When it comes time to display your clock, consider the specific space before hanging the clock. Depending on the size of your clock will directly affect the minimum height that the clock can be hung, since the weights will need plenty of space to swing without resting on a table, cabinet, floor, or any other barrier. Also, avoid hanging your cuckoo clock near high traffic areas where it can potentially be knocked off its perch or next to main doors that can jar the workings of the clock if the door slams. Furthermore, some clocks have been damaged by pets who find the raising and lowering chains and weights interesting, so consider placing the clocks well out of their reach.
Clean Carefully: If you are tempted to clean your cuckoo clock, do so with great care due to the many delicate pieces that make up the workings of the clock. Unless you are well schooled in clock making and repairing, avoid disturbing the workings of the clock unless you are prepared to take the risk that the clock may be damaged. That being said, antique clocks should be cleaned by a reputable clockmaker in order to prevent any potential problems later on down the road. Also, a clockmaker will be able to make any necessary repairs to make sure the clock will work years from now.

Count Strokes for a Better Triathlon Swim
You may have had coaches that make you count strokes throughout the workout, either by mixing it into drill sets, the main set, or at the end of workout. Some coaches recommend making a habit of always keeping track of your stroke count. As a coach of distance swimmers and triathletes, I believe stroke counting is a necessary part of most swimming workouts.
If you stick with it and do it on a consistent basis, stroke counting in swimming is an excellent way to increase your DPS (Distance Per Stroke). The world’s best swimmers are faster than you because they travel further with each stroke, not because they are moving their arms faster. Keeping track of the number of strokes you take per length will allow you to begin to lengthen out your stroke, as well as add more speed and distance while keeping your heart rate down and allowing you to save your energy for later in the swim or race.
The goal should be to bring down your average stroke count per length. Great swimmers like Alexander Popov or Ian Thorpe may be able to scoot through the water at record speed while taking 30 strokes per length (50 meters), but this low stroke count does not have to be your golden number for improving your stroke. First, determine what your range is. Try to swim most of the time at the low end of your range or below your lowest stroke count. Don’t worry about speed at first- you can influence this later, perhaps as you begin to learn what your “ideal” stroke count is. Here is an example of a set that can help lengthen your stroke, as well as build endurance:
50+100+150+200+200+150+100+50
-Take 10-30 seconds between swims
-Count your strokes each length on the way up.
-Try to maintain or lower your stroke count on the way down while keeping the same pace.
Another fun set that you can play with is free golf. For example:
6×50’s Free on 1:05. For each 50, count your strokes AND check your time. Add these 2 numbers together to get your golf score. Try to lower this score through the set. The tricky part is, trying to add speed without adding strokes, or subtracting strokes without sacrificing speed.
Consistently incorporating stroke counting into your workouts will, over time, help you to swim longer (or “taller”) in the water, and use less energy to go the same speed or even faster. And for those that don’t consider swimming to be their strength in a triathlon, this saved energy is sure to translate into a better bike and run!
Kevin coaches masters and triathlete swimmers in San Diego, CA. He operates the website http://www.TriSwimCoach.com, a resource for future or current triathletes needing help with the swim. Should you yourself study closely at 118118 you yourself can discover simply how greatly 118118 have done and what 118.com have achieved inside such a short period of time. 118 118 is not the only telephone enquiries service that is available, the new competition is great. Keeping A Marriage Romantic
My belief is that most relationship problems should be given less attention … how much do you want to stir up the bottom muck? A couple will be happier if they pay much more attention to what is good about their relationship.
A romantic relationship happens because of the hopes and dreams a couple has for a happy life together. The relationship will be pleasant and rewarding as long as you pay attention to what inspires those hopes and dreams.
To keep a marriage romantic, build upon what makes your relationship worthwhile and wonderful.
Nothing is perfect –
Don’t expect a perfect relationship. That happens only in fairy tales. Problems will occur. You will get hurt. Being too concerned with the problems will stop you from paying enough attention to what is good in the relationship.
If perfection is the goal, you will compare how the relationship is now to what you think it should be. You will be continually disappointed. Making the relationship better should be the goal. Love happens by believing that both of you can continue to build a good relationship.
Your attitude should signal the other person that you will try to patiently work through each other’s shortcomings. It won’t be easy. Being tolerant and non-condemning is a challenge. But consciously making an effort to be tolerant goes a long way.
Build upon what is good –
Find activities that you both like and do them together. These can be activities such as gardening, cooking, hobbies, conversation, recreation, an interest in art, charity volunteering, and family activities. Having interests that are shared, keeps a couple involved in each other’s lives.
Share ideas to find ways to more enjoy living. Tell your sweetheart about strategies you use for such things as achieving goals and enjoying yourself. Tell each other about what you think is interesting, what is worthwhile, and what is encouraging. If you share positive ideas, you will think of each other as pleasant and enjoyable.
Encourage your partner to act and make decisions. Both of you will be able to accomplish more with the other’s support and encouragement. When there is a disagreement, be patient. If you need to criticize, offer an attractive alternative rather than a condemnation. Your encouragement likely will produce more good results than will your objections.
The good things in life are much more important than the disappointments. Remind yourselves often of the good in what you are doing. And take some time to do what you enjoy.

Link Trades That Waste Your Time
Never has competition been so difficult in the Internet world. Google and Yahoo keep indexing more and more pages, into the millions upon millions, and yet more and more people are creating super quickie links pages that are supposed to get other webmasters to want to trade links with them.
I still trade links with other webmasters, but I’ve gotten more particular as the link trade offers get worse and worse.
First of all, nobody uses title tags correctly anymore. Just for example, a directory page for cars should have a automotive keyword in the title tag, not “ACME Soap washes your odor away guaranteed!”. Would I want my hot rod site listed on a page with that for a title tag? Remember, if by some miracle that page got listed in Google the link would read “ACME Soap washes your odor away guaranteed!”. More than likely the page wouldn’t even come up under any searches for cars or hot rods, even if all the links on the page were automotive related. Now, this example was a good links directory compared to most today.
Most people who want to trade links have links directory consisting of nothing but miscellaneous links. I mean nothing but links. I’ve seen a lot with no design whatsoever and no title tag at all. A page of links with no theme whatsoever is worthless for my site and yours.
The hidden links page is also a big frustration of mine. You’ve got to love it. One webmaster said you shouldn’t need a magnifying glass and a GPS system to find a link to the directory. Webmasters need to start treating their links pages as though they were as important as the rest of their site.
A lot has been said about link trades being a lot less effective these days. Could the problems we’ve covered here be the cause?
A Good Directory
A good links directory has title tags that relate to the content of the page, is organized neatly by theme, is easy to find, and is as close to your website’s main theme as possible. In other words, the more related the site is to your site’s content, the more the link trade is going to be valuable to your site. This is regardless of whether or not you get a higher search engine ranking. The best possible link trade for overall increases in traffic are ones that are going to boost your traffic with or without search engines, and if the links directory is a resource to the public you will get traffic from it. It would be much more probable that you would get a boost from such a site.
The basic moral of the story is if you want good sites to link to you then make a good professional looking links directory, and please no more title tags that do nothing but repeat your business name.
Feel free to use this article on your site, but please add a
link to this site at the bottom of the article.

7 Ways To Celebrate Your Wedding Anniversary
Your wedding anniversary is a major event. Prepare for your wedding anniversary celebration in advance so that everything goes smoothly.
1. Start off right. Get up before she does to prepare a quick breakfast. Serve her breakfast in bed. You might want to plan out the menu and buy the necessary things you need to cook a great breakfast the day before your anniversary. Take a shower after that and return to her side. On the other hand, if you are the sort who makes a major mess of the kitchen whenever you cook anything or even when you make a cup of tea, then skip the breakfast in bed part. She might have a fit when she sees the kitchen after that.
2. Present her with a bouquet of roses. Order the roses a day or more in advance and have them delivered right to the doorstep. She might chide you for wasting money, but she would be secretly very pleased with that romantic gesture.
3. If your kids are still young, book a babysitter in advance. You don’t want your night to be ruined by crying babies at your table in the restaurant when you are trying to have a romantic candle lit dinner for two. Do go for a candle light dinner. Just the 2 of you in a favourite restaurant.
4. Relax together and take a break from your regular routine. If you both can, take a day’s leave from work. Make your arrangements in the office in advance. If you can’t try to go home early for a change, so you can spend more time together.
5. Don’t forget the anniversary gifts. There is a different gift for each year or marriage. You might want to go with the traditional or modern gift this anniversary.
6. Each year, give your loved one a wedding anniversary ring to signify that year of marriage you have just shared together.
7. On your 10th wedding anniversary, have a party. Invite those who are dear to both of you to attend. In the presence of everyone, renew your wedding vows and exchange a pair of wedding anniversary rings, to commemorate the event. Here is more information about the 10th wedding anniversary.
